A survey of Indian paintings from the time of the country’s independence in the late 1940s to the present, borrowed from the private collection of Shelley and Donald Rubin. The exhibition is being presented in conjunction with a daylong symposium on contemporary Indian culture, including a performance by Abhijit Banerjee and Tarang on Friday, October 19.
